Julian Joslin ’05
Julian Joslin is a New York-based writer, director, and editor. His short film No Longer Suitable for Use had its world premiere at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival and was acquired by The New Yorker / Condé Nast. The film was executive produced by Academy Award-winner Sam Rockwell and stars Laith Nakli (A24/Hulu’s Ramy). The story was informed by Joslin’s eight years working for federal public defenders in New York City, during which time he assisted with the defense of 11 alleged terrorists, including Bin Laden lieutenant Khalid Al-Fawwaz, international arms dealer Viktor Bout, the Newburgh Four, and AQAP member Minh Quang Pham.
