With a campus on Main Street in Concord, Mass., our school is enriched by the outsized literary and historical legacy of the town — a town that serves as a classroom and as an extended community. Some of our faculty and staff live on campus, while others drive or take the Commuter Rail (a 30-minute trip from Cambridge), which stops just a few blocks from campus.

All teachers at CA take part in community life outside of their time in the classroom, but unlike at many boarding schools, we don’t require coaching. For almost a century, Concord Academy has relied on an extensive network of faculty, staff, students, alumnae/i, parents, and friends around the globe to fulfill the mission of the school. These members of the CA community have written the story of CA, each with their own chapter. As we plan to celebrate our Centennial milestone (2022 – 2023), we will honor all CA voices and legacies along with the traditions and values propelling CA into the future. Reporting to the Director of Advancement and Engagement, the Centennial Planning Coordinator will take on the following responsibilities:
Concord Academy’s Advancement and Engagement Office is looking for a part-time (approximately 30 hours/wk; remote and in-person as needed) summer position. The Summer Data Specialist performs a variety of data-oriented tasks in Raiser’s Edge, our advancement and engagement database.
Concord Academy seeks a part-time teacher of photography, to begin July 1, 2021, in support of a strong and well-established visual arts program. The successful candidate will value and seek out opportunities to collaborate with colleagues and engage with a diverse community. We seek a photographic artist and educator who is committed to and experienced with both the darkroom and digital work, well versed in the history of the medium, has teaching experience that shows students finding their voices, values experimentation, and is a practicing artist whose work informs their teaching and vice versa.
Concord Academy seeks a school nurse to begin August 16, 2021. We are looking for an empathetic and experienced professional with genuine enthusiasm for working with adolescents, curiosity about learning, and commitment to professional and personal growth to fill a critical role in supporting our students and families.
We anticipate an opening in its Performing Arts Department for a teacher and program director in the Dance Program, to begin July 1, 2021.
We anticipate an opening for a three-quarters or full-time physics teacher in its Science Department, to begin July 1, 2021.
We anticipate an opening in its Modern and Classical Languages Department for a full-time teacher of Latin, to begin July 1, 2021.
The school has an opening in its visual arts department for a part-time teacher of drawing and sculpture, to begin July 1, 2021.
The school anticipates a one-year teaching opening in its history department for the
school year 2021-2022.
The school seeks to fill the role of director of choral music in its performing arts department, to begin July 1, 2021.
