Emily Harney ’94
Emily Harney has over 15 years of strategic and creative leadership experience in the nonprofit arts sector. Most recently she served as the senior vice president of programming and strategy at BRIC, a cultural organization in Brooklyn, N.Y. whose work spans contemporary visual and performing arts, media, and civic action. At BRIC, she led diverse, interdisciplinary teams to create and deliver programs and initiatives that expanded opportunity and deepened service to artists and local communities. Prior to that, she was director of community engagement and marketing at MAPP International Productions, a unique producing company that supported artists in the development, production and touring of innovative new work. She holds a master’s in arts administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a bachelor’s in performance studies from Bryn Mawr College. Harneywas a dancer in her Concord Academy days.
