Our first long school break of the year is just around the corner. CA will be closed the entire week of Thanksgiving, including all student houses, which close at 12 noon on Saturday, November 23, and do not open until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 1. We will have a normal school day and athletic schedule on Friday, November 22. CA will provide transportation for boarders to Alewife, Logan Airport, and South Station on Saturday, November 23, departing at 9:00 a.m. We encourage boarders, especially those traveling by train, plane, or bus, to travel on Saturday morning to avoid a Friday evening scramble and late arrivals.
The boarding houses will reopen on Sunday, December 1, at 4:00 p.m. If there is sufficient need, CA will provide transportation for boarders on Sunday, December 1, departing from Logan Airport at 7:00 p.m. and South Station at 7:15 p.m. and arriving back at CA around 8:00 p.m. If your child’s flight, train or bus timing does not coincide with the times of the bus that CA organizes, Renee Coburn can help arrange a cab at a different time. We ask that all boarders return to their houses between 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Sunday evening, December 1 (please note: All houses are closed until 4:00 p.m.).
