What are you involved in at CA?

I am a member of Girl’s Varsity soccer and lacrosse and during the winter I race for the alpine skiing team. I am a peer tutor, head tour guide, and a writer for CA’s student newspaper, the Centipede.

Why makes CA unique?

One of the things that makes CA unique is the diversity of interests among the student body. CA students are brilliant artists, dedicated students, and strong athletes. You will find your people no matter what your passions are, even if it takes a little time. If you want to try something new, CA is the place to be.

Why did you choose CA?

I chose CA because of the experience I had during my revisit day. Everyone that I met expressed their love for the school community and I was moved by how excited students were to learn and teachers were to teach. One of my favorite memories from my revisit day was attending a Dance One class with my host student, Audrey. While I would not consider myself a dancer in any capacity, I had so much fun getting out of my comfort zone and dancing with strangers. It hadn’t occurred to me that I could take dance for credit in high school, which I ended up doing my junior year.
