What are you involved in at CA?

At CA, I work on the Student Council as Junior Class President. I am also a co-head of Umoja (a Black affinity group) and MSA (a Muslim student affinity group) and the assistant editor of the yearbook. I am a member of the programming and robotics club, and I am on the track team.

How would you describe common trust?

Common trust is the respect that students and faculty share for the school, the community, and the environment. Synonyms of common trust include empathy, respect, integrity, and community.

What is your favorite boarding memory or tradition?

My favorite boarding tradition will always be weekly house food on Saturdays. It’s fun to see the house come together and bond over food made by the house faculty on duty. These Saturday nights are always filled with laughter, bonding, and storytelling by our housemates.

Share a moment where you knew you belonged at CA.

Every late night I’ve spent in the Admad common room always reminds me of the fun and energetic community CA has built. My favorite moments include late-night study sessions, house food, and talks with my Head of House. Every day I make a new memory in the boarding houses, and just reminiscing about it reminds me of how embracing CA is.
