The Junior Class Leadership Retreat this year is scheduled to take place on March 27 and 28. The purpose of this retreat is for the junior class to spend some time away from campus to focus on what leadership entails, in anticipation of becoming seniors the following year. The retreat will invite the juniors to consider their individual, class, and school leadership goals, and how they want to define their senior year. The retreat site this year is again at the Prindle Pond Conference Center in Charlton, Mass., an hour from campus. This retreat is a required event for all juniors. We will depart Concord Academy on Friday, March 27, at 2:30 p.m., and we will return by 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28. All students will need to bring an overnight bag, sheets, a blanket or sleeping bag, towels, and a pillow. Additional detailed information about what to pack (and what to leave home) will be passed along to your children as the date approaches.

A note about juniors studying away from CA this semester: In the past, several students studying away from CA have returned for the weekend, however, it is not a requirement for those studying away, and indeed not possible for some. In past years, this weekend has proven to be wonderful, and we’re really looking forward to working with this year’s class during the upcoming weekend.
