At Concord Academy, you are considered an international applicant if your family’s primary residence is outside of the U.S. and/or if you attend school outside of the United States. U.S. citizens employed overseas who also file U.S. personal income tax returns are not considered international applicants.

English Proficiency Testing

Students for whom English is not a first language should submit an official score report for the Test of English as a Foreign Language exam (TOEFL IBT or ITS), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or Duolingo.

If the applicant’s primary language is English or if the applicant has attended an English-speaking school within the United States for the past three years, please request a waiver of this requirement by writing to admissions@concordacademy.org.

Interviews

Due to the significant increase in international applications, Concord Academy has partnered with Vericant in order to better accommodate student requests for an admission interview. All international applicants, as defined by the criteria above, are required to interview with Vericant before they will be considered for an interview with Concord Academy.

Our Admission Office will review the completed Vericant interviews and score reports to determine which students will be invited to interview with a member of the Concord Academy interview team. For other applicants, the Vericant interview will serve as the interview. Thank you for your patience as we review the Vericant interview. We will reach out directly regarding our response.

Please complete our online inquiry form so that we can contact you following the review of your Vericant interview. Vericant interviews must be completed and submitted to Concord Academy by January 1 in order to be considered for an interview with the Concord Academy interview team.
