Concord Academy’s Strategic Planning Overview

Concord Academy’s Strategic Planning Overview

Concord Academy’s Board of Trustees approved the new Strategic Plan on June 11. This represents the culmination of an extensive process that collected feedback from over 700 community members, including trustees, faculty and staff, alums, and parents. The five-year plan contains five overarching strategic priorities. It directs the school to:

  1. Embrace our identity as a school where intellectually curious students with a shared love of learning can explore deeply and broadly, charting their own paths.
  2. Continue to build a diverse, integrated community with common trust as its foundation.
  3. Adapt and enhance our program to meet the unique academic and social-emotional interests and needs of CA students.
  4. Maintain and/or repurpose facilities to effectively deliver the program, invest in new facilities that support strategic priorities.
  5. Ensure CA’s long-term financial resiliency.

We are grateful for all of the work of the strategic planning committee and for the dedication of our community throughout this process.

With the approval of the strategic plan, we are excited to embark on the implementation phase this summer. Detailed planning is already underway, and we will provide more information about the strategic vision, key initiatives, and our implementation plan this fall.
