Aza Abrams ’26
Aza is a junior day student from Shirley, Mass. Her passions include Irish step dance, piano, violin, and singing. At CA, she has had the opportunity to channel her love for dance through CA’s amazing program. She has also had a great experience with CA’s orchestra and chamber groups and takes music lessons with instructors who continue to fuel her creativity. Her favorite aspect of the CA experience is the community, especially the connections students make with their teachers. “Everyone at CA is very interconnected,” Aza says, “and the bond is especially strong because of the passion that teachers have for the subjects they teach. Aza’s social media goals include effectively reaching out to target audiences, producing relatable content to encourage engagement, and authentically communicating the type of community that exists at CA.

Charlotte Goltra ’26
Charlotte is a junior day student from Concord, Mass. She plays volleyball in the fall, participates in the ski team in the winter, and is a co-head for CA’s Outdoors Club. One of her favorite things about CA is that students are always encouraged to try new things, whether through clubs or classes. She loves exploring new art forms such as ceramics, as well as fine-tuning her skills in photography and video editing. She hopes to use these skills and learn new ones during her social media internship.

Jacob Himelfarb ’26
Jacob is a junior day student from Newton, Mass. He is on the boys soccer team and is one of the co-heads of the Scallion, CA’s very own humor newspaper. This year, Jacob also became a co-head for the Prison Justice Project, a club at CA that aims to help wrongfully convicted people and spread awareness about the issue. Jacob’s favorite thing about CA is the variety of clubs and extracurricular activities. Jacob is also a participant in Mock Trial and Model UN and is very interested in politics. His current favorite class is Math of Politics, as it supports his goals of being more politically active over this coming election cycle. Throughout his CA social media internship, Jacob hopes to expand CA’s social media as both a useful tool and as entertainment for students (current and prospective), parents, alums, and faculty alike, while simultaneously learning about the school and how they run their social media and marketing campaigns.

Sophia Peng ’25
Sophia is a senior boarding student from Weston, Mass., and Shenzhen, China. Her favorite aspect of the CA experience is the freedom and flexibility students have in their classes, extracurriculars, boarding life experience, and everything in between. At CA, she loves participating in CA Singers, chorus, and acapella groups. She has also discovered new passions including Latin American history, East Asian history, and English poetry through CA’s deeply exploratory curriculum. She is also grateful that CA provides opportunities like the social media intern position, which will help her get to know a little of what goes on behind the scenes at CA as well as hone her creative skills in a professional environment. Specifically, as an intern, she hopes to bring a “more interactive persona” to CA’s social media, as well as a more casual and approachable feed, to help give prospective students a true look inside CA’s wonderful community.
