We also provide structured mentorship to new teachers. At CA, all teachers take part in community life outside of their time in the classroom, but unlike many boarding schools, we do not require teachers to coach a sport. We have found that when individuals are free to determine how they want to be involved, it improves the quality of life as well as the quality of the education we provide.
