Maybe you’re a little different. So are we. Concord Academy is an independent school for independent-minded students. Our teachers are innovative; they’re given the freedom to follow their passions—so they can better support yours.
We set high standards for our students. We also know intrinsic motivation will take you further than anything else. That’s why our curriculum is broad, well-rounded, and flexible. We’ll encourage you to direct your own learning and give you the support you need along the way.

Your teachers, coaches, and college counselor will get to know you well. So will your advisor—you’ll meet one-on-one every week. Concord Academy is a relational school. We’re intentional about adolescent development and helping teens grow as self-advocates.
Concord Academy isn’t a boarding school with day students or a day school with boarding students. We’re both, and our 60% day, 40% boarding community enjoys the best of both worlds, including a robust residential life program that all students benefit from. Day students often stay for dinner and attend weekend activities. Boarding students have a homelike, personal experience that’s unlike anywhere else.
This intimate school offers the opportunities of larger institutions. Through student government, clubs, and affinity groups, as well as individual initiatives, students are leaders at Concord Academy. Celebrate a team victory, perform with a chamber group, or design a senior project. Start a sustainability campaign, organize a service project, or help bring a speaker to campus. You’ll have the CA community behind you.
We value individual expression and engage with common trust. We’re explicit about striving for equity, within our community and in the world. And we’re competitive with ourselves and collaborative with each other.
