CA is introducing a reimagined reunion format—one that brings together alums every three years for a truly special celebration. In May 2026, CA will host its final traditional Reunion and Alum Weekend, celebrating graduating years ending in 1 and 6 (as always, any alum wishing to attend is welcome!). Reunions will then take a brief pause as CA prepares for this new approach, resuming in 2028 with the launch of the new triennial format: Alum Weekend.
Why the change? Because CA friendships aren’t limited by class years. This new model opens the door for broader, more inclusive gatherings reflective of your CA experience while providing the opportunity to reminisce, strengthen old ties, and grow your alum network. It’s a chance to celebrate what connects us—our shared CA experience—in a deeper, more dynamic way.
We invite you to join us as we launch this exciting new chapter to strengthen the bonds that unite the CA alum community. Mark your calendar for June 2028 and get ready to make new memories with old friends—and new ones, too.

The new three-year reunion model, coined Alum Weekend, is designed to bring alums together in a more dynamic and inclusive way. While our traditional format connected various class years, this updated approach invites graduates from a wider range of surrounding classes, fostering even richer opportunities to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate. It reflects the true spirit of CA—a community where friendships naturally bridge class years and meaningful relationships continue to grow long after graduation.
The first multiyear reunion will be held in 2028. Mark your calendars for this exciting event!
Please note, there will be no Reunion in 2027.
Starting in 2028, Alum Weekend will be held every three years, allowing alums to reconnect more deeply over a broader period and with a wider range of CA graduates.
Classes will find the frequency that they reunion to be not too different from a traditional 5-year reunion model. Each class can expect to be invited back to campus every 3 years, with an occasional 6 year intermission. As always, all alums will be invited to attend every Alum Weekend.
We will host Reunion Weekend on May 16–17, 2026 for classes ending in 1 or 6 to ensure they have the opportunity to gather before CA shifts to the triennial Alum Weekend model. As always, any alum wishing to attend is welcome. This special one-day celebration offers the added bonus of experiencing CA while it’s full of life, with students on campus and the energy of the academic year in full swing. Yes! Three years can feel like a long stretch—especially when time starts to feel more precious with age. Classes that have already celebrated their 50th reunion will have the opportunity for a single-day gathering every spring, beginning in 2027.
The multiyear format mirrors the experience CA alums had as students—building friendships across different class years. It brings that same interconnected spirit to Alum Weekend, giving you more chances to reconnect with a wider circle of people who helped shape your time at Concord Academy.
There are a variety of ways to engage with CA and fellow alums that occur on an annual basis. Attend one of our regional, campus, or virtual events. Get insight on what’s being taught today at a Back to School Series program. Visit the Alum Events Calendar to learn more and see the full roster of offerings. Looking to connect with just your class? The Advancement Office would be happy to help partner with you to organize a class zoom for your class.
Absolutely! Any CA alum, regardless of class year, is welcome to attend Alum Weekend. We encourage everyone to join in the celebration!
