At Concord Academy, you are considered an international applicant if your family’s primary residence is outside the United States and/or you attend school outside the United States. U.S. citizens employed overseas who also file U.S. personal income tax returns are not considered international applicants.
Students for whom English is not a first language should submit an official score report for the Test of English as a Foreign Language exam (TOEFL IBT or ITS), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or Duolingo.
If the applicant’s primary language is English or if the applicant has attended an English-speaking school within the United States for the past three years, please email admissions@concordacademy.org to request a waiver of this requirement.
All international students interested in applying to Concord Academy are required to schedule their interview through Vericant. International applicants, as defined by the criteria above, must interview with Vericant before being considered for an interview.
The Admissions Office will contact families directly if a student is invited to interview with a member of the admissions interview team. For other applicants, the Vericant interview will serve as the interview. To receive our response, students must complete our inquiry form. Vericant interviews must be completed and submitted by January 1.
