Shaped Verse In this second installment of a close reading workshop, Sabrina will guide the analysis of shaped poetry. Delving into works by George Herbert, James Merrill, Marilyn Nelson, Layli Long Soldier, and Evie Shockley, participants will explore how a poem’s visual pattern and verbal dimensions converge to bear its design into meaning.
