Sue is an accomplished athletics director, coach, and athlete. She coached Division I women’s basketball for 20 years, beginning at Yale, her alma mater. She has held coaching positions at Princeton, Boston College, and the University of New Hampshire. During her college athletics career, she was a formidable athlete. She played basketball, softball, and lacrosse at Yale and still holds nine Yale basketball records. She has been inducted into her high school sports hall of fame, the Connecticut Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, and most recently, the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame. Sue joined Concord Academy in July 2015. Prior to that, she served as athletics director at Gann Academy in Waltham for eight years. Beyond overseeing the athletics program at CA, she is also an administrator-on-duty and a student advisor, advising the Student Athletics Council. She resides on campus with her family. In her free time, she enjoys biking, spending time with family and friends, especially at the beach, and walking her yellow Labrador, Gus.
