Samuel Bozoukov

English Teacher

Sam Bozoukov recently completed his Ph.D. in English literature at Harvard University on sound and listening in John Milton's last poem, Samson Agonistes. At Harvard, he earned recognition from the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning for his teaching in a course on the history of the essay. He also taught classes on Paradise Lost and Shakespearean playwriting, as well as his own designed seminar on the intersection of tragic drama and disability theory. Sam is thrilled to be teaching at the Concord Academy this fall. He is especially excited to be introducing 9th graders to important works in the literary canon and to be leading a class on artificial intelligence in literature.
