Nicholas Brown
Clarinet and Saxophone Teacher
Nicholas Brown joined the music faculty at Concord Academy in 2022, teaching clarinet and chamber music. An active performer and arts leader, he holds positions with the Boston Festival Orchestra, Boston Lyric Opera Orchestra, Portland Symphony, and New Bedford Symphony, and has appeared with the Boston Pops, Boston Symphony, Celebrity Series of Boston, Library of Congress, and Newport Music Festival. As co-founder and executive director of the Boston Festival Orchestra, Nicholas has produced more than 50 events for over 15,000 audience members across Greater Boston. At CA, he works closely with students to develop curiosity, creativity, and communication skills through music. A native of Portland, Maine, Nicholas is a graduate of Boston University and the New England Conservatory of Music and an alum of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.
