If Natalie were a character, she would be Anne Shirley from L.M. Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables. Despite being mortally afraid of birds and the ocean, Natalie loves tengu yokai and her favorite painting is Katsushika Hokusai’s The Great Wave off Kanagawa.

Assistant Director of Communications and Operations

Prior to joining Concord Academy in 2026, Natalie Cherie Campbell served as the communications specialist for the Religion and Public Life program at Harvard Divinity School. She quickly gained the moniker “chief storyteller,” shining a light on both her approach to communications and her editorial roots. Her work is animated by her commitment to moral imagination and the pursuit of a more just world at peace.

Natalie holds a Master of Theological Studies in religion, literature, and culture from Harvard Divinity School. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Minor in Editing from Brigham Young University.

Natalie is a true multipotentialite. She enjoys a plethora of hobbies including visiting National Parks, creative writing, reading manga and manhwa, playing board games, crocheting amigurumi, singing in her church choir, learning the erhu, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and studying Japanese yokai and folklore. Natalie has a husband and two sons, who, if she were to describe them in a word, are a wizard, a bard, and a rogue respectively.
