Michael Colombo joins Concord Academy as Head Girls Varsity Soccer Coach for the 2026 season, bringing years of experience as both a player and coach. Over his career, Michael has come to believe there is something special about coaching high school girls.

"At a time in their lives when so much seems (and actually is) out of their control, soccer provides an outlet where focused effort consistently yields improvement over time. Once players embrace that growth mindset, it becomes easier to apply the same spirit of continuous improvement more broadly."

Having witnessed the positive impact soccer had on his own daughters, Michael aims to create a transformative experience for his players. He also coaches U15 and U16 DPL teams for the Boston Bolts.

Michael lives in Medford with his wife and two French Bulldogs. His younger daughter Cece will attend Clemson Universityin the fall, and his older daughter Maria begins her senior year at UMass Amherst.
