Kim Kopelman P'26
Science Teacher, ASC Tutor
Kim Kopelman joined Concord Academy in 2013 and teaches biology, chemistry, and a psychology elective. She also tutors in the Academic Support Center and serves as a 9th-grade class advisor, a role she especially values for the chance to help students gain confidence and find their footing in high school. After graduating from Smith College, Kim moved to Washington, D.C., where she worked in a National Institutes of Mental Health lab, studying circadian rhythms, and earned graduate degrees in biology and secondary education. She went on to teach science at several independent schools before coming to Concord, bringing a background in both research and education that fuels her interdisciplinary approach and inspires curiosity, resilience, and self-assurance in her students.
