John Sullivan joined Concord Academy in 2025 as choral accompanist. He is active as a pianist, conductor, piano teacher, and vocal coach in the Boston area. Outside of CA, he is currently accompanist and assistant conductor with the Concord Chorus, the Masterworks Chorale, and the Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus. Past positions include piano lab instructor and affiliated artist at MIT. He holds a degree in music from Harvard University, where he conducted the Bach Society Orchestra and the Dunster House Opera (now Harvard College Opera). His musical interests include Beethoven, Bruckner, Italian and German opera, and chamber music.
