Ashley Addington joined the Concord Academy music faculty in 2022. A flutist with a diverse career, she is both an enthusiastic educator and a versatile performer of contemporary and traditional repertoire. She performs regularly with the Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP), Plymouth Philharmonic, and Sound Icon, and has recently appeared with the Albany Symphony, Portland Symphony, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Odyssey Opera, A Far Cry, Symphony New Hampshire, Emmanuel Music, Cantata Singers, Radius Ensemble, and Chordage Ensemble.
Ashley also teaches at the University of Massachusetts Boston, Berklee College of Music, and Tufts University. Outside of music, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, walking her dog Miles, at the pottery wheel, running, and caring for her many houseplants.
