What are you involved in at CA?
I have been dancing since my freshman year and doing Dance Project since my sophomore year. I participated in girls varsity lacrosse my first two years and am on the girls varsity track and field team this year. I am also a member of CASA (Concord Academy Students in Action) and a co-head of the Self-Defense Club.

Why did you choose CA?
What initially drew me into CA was the strong quality of academics and project-based learning, the opportunity to make close connections with teachers, and to explore my interests in the visual arts. But the incredible sense of community I felt on campus ultimately made me choose Concord. I remember on my Revisit Day being invited to play soccer during a 10-minute break by students in my English class. We had so much fun, and they told me about their experience at CA. This small gesture gave me insight into the kind of people at this school. I knew in that moment this was the kind of uplifting community I wanted to be a part of.

Favorite class you’ve taken at CA and why?
Before starting my junior year, I was intimidated by the thought of taking physics. The subject has a reputation for being difficult, and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to keep up. But as the semester continued, something unexpected happened—I found myself loving the class. Concepts that once seemed impossible began to click, and I started to see the beauty in how physics explains the world around us. By the end of the year, physics had become one of my favorite subjects, and I hope to take Advanced Physics: Waves and Optics next year.

Advice to prospective students?
CA offers an incredibly wide range of classes, clubs, athletics, and arts. My advice is to try as many new activities that interest you as you can! Don’t be afraid of something not working out, because you never know what will end up being a new passion.

Share a moment where you knew you belonged at CA:
During my freshman year, I went on a school trip to France. At first, I was nervous because I didn’t know many of the other students. But from the moment we boarded the plane, everyone was welcoming and kind. Whether we were exploring new cities, sharing meals, or laughing over travel mishaps, I started to form strong friendships. By the end of the trip, I truly felt like I belonged at CA. Some of my favorite high school memories were made on that journey.
