Alec teaches photography and advises the yearbook staff at Concord Academy. He holds an MFA degree with Distinction from the University of Georgia and a BA degree in studio art from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Alec’s personal work and research move between the fields of criticism, curation, and photography, often engaging with contingent notions of home, love, and grief. In addition to his personal art practice, he enjoys spending his time on DIY home renovation work, exploring coastal forests, and hunting for ghosts. Alec has been with CA since 2021.
