What are you involved in at CA?
At CA, I’m a member of EASA (East Asian affinity group) and DEMONs (the engineering club) as well as being a co-head of the fishing club. I also play for the varsity volleyball and softball teams.
Why did you choose CA?
I chose CA because the people made the learning environment feel so safe and I’d grown up seeing groups of friends out in the town having fun and I loved the idea of such a close community.
What is your favorite class you’ve taken at CA and why?
My favorite class I have taken at CA was the history course Making of the Muslim World. It was an eye-opening class that tied together the modern world with the old. With a thoughtful examination of different writers on the same subject, we explored the various ways history is told and how authors’ biases play a part in the narrative.
At this point in time, what two to three songs do you think you might choose for your Chapel playlist?
“Wagon Wheel”, “Wouldn’t It Be Nice”, and “Magic in the Hamptons”.
