Eric was raised by penguins in the wilds of Alaska. After defeating all comers, he was sent away to Boston to spread his wings and to learn how to cook and to wash his clothes. Dressed in a disguise, he was able to steal an MIT degree in math and computer science from the Tappet Brothers. He eventually found employment at First Video on Newbury Street, where he was recognized for his skill at making prescient recommendations. He followed this success with a career in software working at ATG (acquired by Oracle), DataPower (acquired by IBM) and PatientKeeper (acquired by HCA). After a mental and emotional collapse, he switched careers and began teaching in Boston Public Schools at the John D. O’Bryant School of Math and Science, where he taught math and computer science to all grades for more than a decade. He has taught math at CA for two years and has slowly fallen in love with the school’s charming eccentricities and its daring and creative students.
