Daniel (he/him/his) has taught as a special educator and German teacher at several schools in the New England area since he arrived in the U.S. from his native Germany in 2007. Along with being fascinated by how people learn, especially languages, he continues to learn about brewing (coffee, beer, sometimes tea), playing music (guitar, bass, sometimes drums), and all sorts of projects inside and outside his house. When he’s not busy in Massachusetts, he loves to spend time on a lake or mountain in the Mount Washington Valley of New Hampshire with his wife, Mary (an English teacher), his sons Sebastian and Oliver, and his cats Mira and Zazu.
