Boys Lacrosse Coach

Scott DeLaura was named the boys varsity lacrosse coach at Concord Academy in fall 2024. He grew up in Niantic, Conn., and played lacrosse for East Lyme High School as well as the Connecticut Cardinals club lacrosse team. He enjoyed a stellar high school playing career, having earned two All-Conference honors, led his team to three ECC league championships, and been selected as a Connecticut High School East All-Star. He was also named a Top 50 high school player in Connecticut and played in the Super Juniors All-Star Game. Scott went on to play four years of lacrosse at Franklin Pierce University, seeing action in 33 games. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Franklin Pierce and later completed his master’s in education at Concordia University.

Scott began his coaching career in 2011, volunteering for local youth programs while a sophomore in high school. He has coached for East Lyme High School (2015–2017), the CT Cardinals club team (2015–2017), Old Lyme High School (2018 SCC Champions), Eastern Connecticut State University (2019), and Framingham High School (2020–2024). Currently, Scott coaches for the Penguins Lacrosse Club while also coaching at Concord Academy. He is excited to share his passion for the game of lacrosse with the Concord Academy community.
