Michael graduated from Berklee College of Music and is an active audio engineer, performer, and clinician in jazz, funk, blues, and Americana genres, studying with Bruce Bartlett, Jon Damian, David Newsam, Brett Willmott, and Jim Kelly. Michael performs throughout the Northeast with his original trio and other groups, having done many festival, TV, and radio performances. In addition to maintaining his own private studio, he was chair of the Guitar Department at the Community Music Center of Boston as well as a longtime faculty member at the All Newton Music School.
