Concord Academy’s first-class facilities, provides campers with an extensive array of activities, rain or shine. Staff

A camp is only as good as its staff! At Concord Academy Summer Camp, we hire counselors who are enthusiastic, fun, creative, caring, and safety-conscious. An adult head counselor, generally a professional educator or recent college graduate, along with three other staff members lead each group of campers. All of our staff are committed to providing a summer experience that is memorable for each and every camper. Our counselor to camper ratio is 1:4 for Kiddie Camps, 1:5 for Day Camps, 1:6 for Teen Camps, and at least 1:6 for all Specialty Camps. All Concord Academy staff undergo thorough background checks, including CORIs, SORIs, reference checks, and an intensive interview process. All counselors complete a comprehensive pre-camp training and many are certified or trained in First Aid, CPR, life guarding, water safety, as well as specialized programs such as canoeing and archery.
