Installation Art Camp (gr. 7-9)

Installation Art Camp  *New for 2023*
2023 Dates: July 10 – 14

rising 7-9 grades
Cost: $815

Learn art that is entirely about creativity and cooperation!

Campers will learn about installation art and artists working around the world and then move into their own artworks from those points of inspiration. Campers will work together to rearrange their world in meaningful and beautiful ways using some traditional art materials but mostly found, natural, and recyclable objects. Installation art can fill a room, transform a clearing in the woods, or capture a moment and change with time but it can’t be carried home in a backpack, so campers will bring their artwork home in the form of a photographic record at the end of the week.

No experience needed!

About the Instructor: Ilana Bartok
Ilana is a high school art teacher and former expressive arts therapist who studied at Mount Holyoke College and Lesley University. An artist who does a little bit of everything, Ilana considers herself primarily a painter and installation artist. Ilana loves playing games, eating sweets, and spending time with her husband, two children, and cat in their home at Concord Academy.
