What do you like most about CA?
Apart from CA’s intellectually stimulating classes that challenge me to be curious inside and outside of the classroom, what I like most about CA is the fact that I know I can always fall back onto the warm, tight-knit boarding community at the end of the day. Calling our dorms “houses” makes me feel that the CA boarding community is my second home and that I have second parents. The great thing about having many teachers live on campus is tht they are easily accessible for homework help and life advice.
What keeps you busy on campus?
I have played tennis, danced, and ran cross country sophomore year. I have been a part of the CA chorus since freshman year and took clarinet lessons, as well. I am part of the campus engineering club called DEMONS (Dreamers, Engineers, Mechanics and Overt Nerds) and I am co-head of the Mandarin Club and Swing Dance Club. This year, I am on the Boarding Council as co-head of Phelps House.
What’s something that most people don’t know about you?
I love harmonizing to songs when I’m listening to music or when people around me spontaneously start singing.
