What do you like most about CA?
What drew me to CA — and it’s something that has become central to my appreciation for my experience here — is the student-teacher relationships we are able to develop. At my old school, I counted many of my teachers as some of my good friends, as their passion and dedication to what they were doing stretched far beyond what I would have ever expected. When applying to secondary schools, I knew I needed to find another school where these same friendships and personal connections existed, and Concord was one of the few schools where I ever had this same feeling. Today, I still count some of my teachers as my closest friends, and CA would not be the same if it did not have the dedicated and passionate faculty that it does.
What keeps you busy on campus?
At CA, I am involved in a number of clubs and activities. I am a head of the Classics Club as well as a head of the Ceramics Club. I also play the piano with our chamber music groups here. I’m involved in many of CA’s science offerings, and I play lacrosse in the spring.
What’s something that most people don’t know about you?
Most people find it surprising when I tell them that I have a large interest in neuroscience. I think the overlap between the specific domains of biology, chemistry, and psychology is fascinating and something I hope I can continue to explore in the future!
