Boarder – Hamilton, Mass.
What are you involved in at CA?
At CA, in addition to regular coursework, where history and English are my favorite classes, I take private violin lessons and take part in chamber and orchestra ensembles. Playing the violin has been a really important interest for years. I am also on the Discipline Committee and a head orientation leader. I am part of the yearbook staff as a photographer.
How would you describe common trust?
For me, common trust is the glue that holds our community together. It is the trust and respect between faculty and students. It goes beyond a mission statement, as every single member of Concord Academy embodies common trust every single day.
What is the best class you’ve taken at CA and why?
Reform, Social Justice, and Social Change in America, a course that explores five movements throughout the history of the United States. What made this special was the in-depth analysis of each of the movements that made them come to life. This course also enabled me to connect and apply what I learned in this class to current-day events.
What is your favorite boarding memory or tradition?
I love competing in house competitions. We do them about once a month after study hall, and it is a great way for me and everyone else to take a break from homework and have fun and relax with our CA family.
What is on your CA bucket list?
To cook dinner for the 31 incredible girls in my house.
