Private Screening of BOSTON on May 17

Join the CA community for a private screening of BOSTON in the Performing Arts Center (P.A.C.) at Concord Academy on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. Register here.

CA alumna Eleanor Bingham Miller ’64, producer of the first feature-length documentary of the world’s oldest annual marathon, Boston, will return to Concord Academy as the 2016-17 Hall Fellow. Prior to her day on campus, she has arranged for this special viewing of BOSTON at CA. From the film’s website:

“Following the tragic events of 2013, BOSTON records the preparations and running of the 118th Boston Marathon one year later, when runners and community gather in support of one another for what will be the most meaningful race of all. BOSTON is more than a running documentary, it is a timeless story about triumph over adversity for runner and non-runner alike.”

The film, narrated by Matt Damon, has an original score by the Boston Symphony Orchestra and was released to area theaters for a one-day showing in April.
