Four Concord Academy student-artists — Laird Donohue ’19, Ethan Johnson-LeComte ’20, Shanirah Rodriguez-Ponde ’20, and Elliot White ’19 — exhibited their photographs at the Griffin Museum Secondary School Photography Exhibit at Regis College from January 5 through January 19. Students from 19 Boston-area high schools, both public and independent, were selected to participate in this juried exhibition, which included 93 photographs spanning every conceivable genre of photography.
Three of the four CA students were able to attend the opening reception and awards ceremony on January 6, when Elliot’s image “Cyanotype,” which she created in her Photography 3 class, won an honorable mention. “The students were all thrilled to see their work up, and amidst so much excellent work,” reported CA photography teacher Cynthia Katz.
