CA’s New Choral Director Tai Oney is a World-Class Musician Who’s Serious about Teaching

A charismatic opera singer and Boston University graduate student, Tai Oney became CA’s choral director in September 2018. It’s a role that represents a change for the award-winning countertenor, who has performed around the world and spent much of the last decade based in London. But it’s a role that allows him to combine his own artistic pursuits with his desire to give to others what a dynamic teacher once provided him.

Colin Levin ’03: A Talented & Determined Opera Baritone

Last Thursday, the school gathered to hear the story and songs of Colin Levin ’03. A professional opera singer and voice teacher, Levin filled the chapel with his voice, his story, and with his self-deprecating humor.

Junior Art College Workshop on February 21st

The Visual Arts Department and College Counseling Office will host the Junior Art College Workshop on Tuesday, February 21st from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Great Room. The event is intended for juniors who are curious to learn more about pursuing visual art in college. This workshop will give these students useful tools and tips about art in higher education as they begin the college process.

Student Fall Art Show on January 26

The Visual Arts Department is excited to announce that, in partnership with the CA Parents Association, there will be an evening art reception for CA Parents on January 26 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. The show features artwork of the past fall term from those students enrolled in visual arts courses. The show occupies all three floors of the Math and Arts Center and as well as the Ransome Room located on the first floor. Light refreshments and coffee will be served.

Senior Holiday Chapel & Happy Holidays

On the evening of Wednesday, December 21st, the CA community gathered in the chapel along with parents, family, and guests for the annual Senior Holiday Chapel — an evening of festive song, of poetry, of readings, and of laughter.
