The school seeks a math teacher with experience in teaching mathematics to students grades 9-12, ranging from introductory algebra to courses including and perhaps beyond AP-level calculus. Candidates with an interest in departmental leadership will also be considered for the position of Math Department Head. The successful candidate will be an innovative educator and teacher of math, who brings a passion and enthusiasm for helping adolescents acquire and achieve a high level of proficiency in math. Applicants should have significant coursework in a relevant subject. Responsibilities may include math tutoring in our Academic Support Center.

The school provides a competitive benefits package and salary is commensurate with experience. All faculty members at Concord Academy participate fully in the life of the school; responsibilities include advising, serving on committees and/or clubs, and periodically providing an adult presence at school events. Coaching an athletic team is welcomed but not required and is remunerated separately. On-campus housing may be available, but it is limited, and faculty members are not required to live at the school.

Interested candidates are asked to send a cover letter, resume, and transcripts to:

Sarah Yeh
Assistant Head/Dean of Faculty
