Assist with HyFlex classrooms including both remote and present students, supervise movement of students on campus, monitor and support students during meals, passing breaks and free blocks to ensure a safe, secure and comfortable environment conducive to student interaction and learning.
Responsibilities include:

Maintain a positive and safe atmosphere.

Ensure COVID-19 social distance protocols are followed.
-
Proctor/Monitor will start and troubleshoot the classroom technology, and provide supervision and oversight for a set of students and classrooms.
-
Training in the technology used in spaces will be provided, and IT support is available as needed.

Responsible for monitoring the academic spaces around classrooms and be prepared to help any classrooms/teachers in the vicinity.

Ensure that students are adhering to safety protocols during their free periods by monitoring buildings and grounds and available free spaces.

Monitor assigned community spaces during Chapel and announcements

Manage students during meal service, monitor flow of food pickup in the dining hall, direct students to assigned lunch areas.

Record seating assignments in remote classrooms and assigned community areas, assist with attendance recording when needed.

Report any student behavior (not following safety policies) to the Dean of Students.

Communicate with students and school staff in a positive and professional manner utilizing appropriate customer service and interpersonal skills.

Data entry and survey collection as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Experience working in a school setting preferred.
-
Possess energy, enthusiasm and dedication to working with adolescents.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in-person with students and follow school protocols that stipulate face coverings in buildings and maintaining distance.

Mature ability to use judgment and be dependable.
-
Maintain discipline among students in a courteous but firm manner.

Must be able to pass background checks.

Physically able to perform duties assigned at sufficient speed.

Functional skills in reading and writing English.
