Jeff Richey
Interim History Department Head and Teacher
Jeffrey Richey has been a history teacher at Concord Academy since 2022. He also serves as faculty advisor to the Alianza Latina affinity group. His teaching centers on the histories of the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking world, especially concerning issues such as national identity, racial ideology, colonialism and postcolonialism, and popular culture. He holds a Ph.D. in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His passions include music, soccer, Latin American studies, and offal.
