Read this morning’s chapel, delivered by head of school Rick Hardy, as he welcomed students back to school for the second semester.

“As human beings and as citizens of society, we owe the world our attention and our willingness to be heard. Just as we are called on to see and speak out about unfairness in this community, so must we be willing to see and speak out about injustice beyond it. We need to be positive in our outlook, and critical in our thinking. Being an optimist does not require one to cease asking the ‘hard questions’. We need to continually educate ourselves, for knowledge really is power.”
